New identity for the Werkstatthaus Stuttgart. The Werkstatthaus is a transdisciplinary platform for art production and art education with workshops in the fields of sculpture, ceramics, textiles, painting, photography, media and film as well as a café and event space.
The identity is based on a grid system that is applied to a new logo, a typeface, signage system, various printed matter and web and digital applications.
The logo is also flexible and can change according to the requirement.
The flexible and adaptable system design transports the diversity of the house while also creating a recognition factor by combining it with colorful shapes and the custom typeface.

Part of the new identity is the Werkstatthaus Collection is a modular and adaptable furniture and signage system. The collection was developed by Haus Otto and together we adapted it for the signage system and presentation space.
Prototypes of the Werkstatthaus Collection.
By blending object- and graphic design, the collection can be used for multiple applications and materials and through an open structure can grow and evolve over time. The collection consists of five modules in total in various sizes, three boxes and two boards. Based on the small series of wooden modules and a hole grid system, multiple interchangeable objects can be built, rebuilt and transformed to different purposes.
